INTRODUCTION
This scheme was introduced to allow the construction industry to build up its core group of competent and experienced workers in key construction trades who will serve to anchor and lead the construction workforce, and raise its quality and productivity levels. CoreTrade provides a platform to retain the better and more experienced workers by providing a clear career progression path and giving them due recognition. It will allow one to move from a basic skilled worker, to a registered CoreTrade tradesman specializing in specific trades, progress to become a registered CoreTrade trade foreman and eventually a CoreTrade Supervisor.
CoreTrade Personnel (Individual construction foreign worker can apply too)
Construction Tradesman: A worker who is skilled and engaged in a particular trade with at least 4 years experience. Construction Foreman: A worker who supervises and co-ordinates a group of tradesmen in a particular trade with at least 6 year experience.

a) Photocopy of participants identification (Passport & NRIC for local or Work Permit/Employment Pass for Foreigner – front & back)
b) Employment records printed via “Work Permit Online” at MOM website (foreign participant only)
c) CoreTrade Acknowledgement Notice
d) Company’s cheque payment
