Training Courses
We are approved by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to conduct training courses and offer test enrolment services for Skills Evaluation Certificate (Knowledge) (SEC(K)), CoreTrade Skills Assessment (SA) and Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC). We offer the following courses (5 days for New Entrants and 2 days for Skilled Worker):
CoreTrade (Construction Registration of Tradesmen) and CoreTrade Upgrading (Tradesman to Foreman)

Multi-Skilled (Alternative pathway for the industry to upgrade experienced workers from Basic Skilled R2 to Higher Skilled R1 workers)

- Plastering
- Precast Kerb and Drain Laying
- Thermal Insulation
- Interlocking Block Pavement Construction
- Ducting Installation for air-conditioning and ventilation.
CET (Continuing Education and Training for CoreTrade and Multi- Skilled personnel)
- Plumbing & Piping Works
- Waterproofing Work
- Tiling, Stone Laying and Floor Finishing Works
- Reinforced Concrete Works
- Ducting Installation for air-conditioning and ventilation.
Workers who have worked in construction field for more than 4 years are eligible to register as CoreTrade Tradesman Personnel; for more than 6 years are eligible to register as CoreTrade Tradesman or Trades Foreman Personnel.
Multi-skilled Scheme is to provide an alternative pathway for the industry to upgrade their experienced workers.
Both CoreTrade and Multi – Skilled personnel are required to attend Continuing Education and Training (CET) within 2 years of attaining their R1 Status.
